Public Speaking

Mr. Schwartzbach has been sought out for speaking engagements throughout the country and  his talks have been described as inspiring, educational and entertaining. He has also appeared on many national television and radio programs.  His varied audiences have included not just lawyers and law students, but adult lay audiences, as well as college and high school students.

For fifty years, people have sought his help when their lives have been in crisis.
The process of addressing his clients’ legal and personal issues has given Mr. Schwartzbach an understanding of human behavior that many in the legal system either fail to recognize or ignore. Because of this extensive experience, Mr. Schwartzbach is particularly qualified to provide insights into human nature, our ability to overcome adversity and the functioning of the American legal system.

Here is a partial list of Mr. Schwartzbach's speaking events about his book, “Leaning on the Arc: A Personal History of Criminal Defense.” His book provides a candid window into the American criminal justice system.
